Job SummaryAssists in operating a clean, sanitary, and orderly kitchen to prepare and provide quality meals in accordance with company specifications.
Essential Functions
1. Prepare menu items according to Applebee’s Recipes, Plate Presentations and specifications.
2. Complete all assigned prep work.
3. Set up work station according to station diagram.
4. Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times.
5. Clean and sanitize the work area before, during and after shift.
6. Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
1. Place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
2. Stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of approximately six (6) hours in length.
3. Possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
4. Transport cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
5. Lift pots, pans, etc. up to 40 pounds in weight.
