This is for a contractor staff after school with expertise in K-8 grades. We have immediate cases in Amityville, Commack, East Meadow, Harborfields, and Herricks.

Job Overview*
As a qualified behavioral health provider, your role is to provide quality direct supports within the assigned caseload.

What you will be doing:*

• Develop and implement educational plans to address identified needs

• Implement behavior support plans to ensure the successful remediation of problem behavior

• Integrate elements of person-centered planning as part of a coordinated PBS effort

• Provide parent training and skill-building activities at home and in the community

• Assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their support staff, either directly or indirectly, to find meaningful, lasting connections in their own neighborhoods.

• Complete required paperwork (i.e., behavioral data, quarterly progress reports) in a timely manner

• Complete other limited duties, as necessary for the Clinical Director, to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the company

To be successful in this role, you should have a Master's degree and NYSED Teaching Certification, along with a talent/interest in ABA/PBS, LBA preferred, RBT or BCBA acceptable. You motivate and influence others. You are an excellent listener and problem solver who writes well. You can impart information clearly and succinctly. You have some fluency using technology. You should have reliable transportation and be able to work after school hours* 3pm to 8pm*. You’ll also need to be fingerprinted as required by NYSED.

We are in 50+ districts across Long Island. Cases are available in Nassau and Suffolk Counties and are delivered in person (not remote).
