WELLBOUND Certified Home Health Agency is currently seeking full time licensed occupational therapists to serve our pediatric and adult special needs population in the home environment. There is paid training, active leadership and an abundance of resources.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Complete initial evaluations and recertification
• Create individualized, occupation-based goals in collaboration with clients and their family
• Design and deliver compassionate, individualized treatment to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities
• Submit documentation in a timely manner
• Educate and train Home Health Aides to provide carryover of skills and goals addressed during therapy
• Provide effective and timely communication with families
• Supervise COTAs (Performing initial evaluations and recertifications, collaborating on goals and treatments, and providing support to COTA as deemed appropriate by OT and COTA)
• Mentor new therapists providing opportunities to shadow cases in real time and demonstrate competence

Qualifications / Requirements:

• NYS License as Occupational Therapist
• NEW GRADS WELCOME TO APPLY
• Covid-19 Vaccination Required
• Experience using HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) and OASIS assessment, a plus but not required.

Pay: $115,000.00 per year
