19TH HOLE SUPERVISOR Position Description

Safety Sensitive Position

Responsible for daily operations of the 19th Hole Grill & Bar. This position reports directly to the Director of Golf Services.

Essential Duties:

• Supervises the staff and ensures duties are completed as assigned.
• Assists with scheduling of staff and with ordering of supplies.
• Serves as backup for servers/cooks if needed.
• Provide a pleasant and convenient service atmosphere by greeting customers, responding to questions and concerns, and helping when needed.
• Maintain proper safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.
• Manage cash drawer by following proper procedures.
• Follow established closing procedures.
• Receive, sign for and stock deliveries of food and beverages.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in the food and beverage industry required.
• Excellent people and communication skills and ability to exercise good judgment.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Work tasks are performed mostly indoors.
• Long hours of standing and walking.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
• Due to the nature of the industry, the 19thHole Supervisor may be required to work varying schedules due to business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
