Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to determine best manufacturing process design, development of tooling design concepts, inspection, new production techniques and/or tooling to improve reduce scrap/rework, improve product quality.
- Assist in the creation, implementation and maintenance of procedures as required in support of product or process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain appropriate documentation for all work in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Assist hourly associates to obtain appropriate training to maintain the correct knowledge in all regulations, procedures, and processes.
- Assist and participate as required with all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), airline, AS9100, and other audits.
- Work with hourly associates to help meet Customer contractual deadlines (i.e. turn-around time), ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with approved data and conforms to all quality standards and specifications.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent and 6+ months of work experience in a manufacturing environment
- US Person status required due to government contract
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Experience
- Previous experience in Aerospace and/or Aviation
- Previous Tooling Experience
- Previous Quality Inspection Experience
- Experience in a Team Lead role

- Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
Pratt & Whitney in GRAND PRAIRIE, TX is a FAA regulated facility and as such under the U.S. Departments of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
