Job description
Unloads raw product into their respective pits.
Ensures that pits are kept full.
Communicates with cooker operator to ensure the operator knows when product is low and trucks are coming in slow or last trucks are in for the day.
Inspects all raw material trailers for foreign material prior to and while dumping.
Complete all paperwork and movements of product.
Understand the plant operation to know how your job affects production.
Understand permits to help ensure compliance
Communicates with drivers delivering products of what trailers are empty and ready to return to raw material supplier facilities.
Understand all associated equipment and what it does for you so you can trouble shoot prior to getting maintenance involved.
Follow all Company safety procedures, GMP, Food safety, and company guidelines.
Complete all sanitation during and at the end of your shift to ensure we are always audit ready.
Completes any and all tasks as assigned by management, or direction from the lead.
Washes trailer tires prior to exiting to eliminate track out.
Keeps doors closed at all times only exception is backing trailer in and pulling trailer out.
Must scale trailers in as soon as they arrive, dump and scale out in a timely manner and under the 4 hour maximum time allowed per permit.
Keeps area clean and manages the waste water skimmer.
