Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Contracted School BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) to join our team for the upcoming 23/24 school year. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral support and interventions to students with special needs, ensuring their success and progress within an educational setting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify individual needs and develop appropriate behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Design and implement evidence-based behavioral interventions targeting specific goals and objectives for students.
  • Train and provide ongoing support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff members on behavior management strategies and techniques.
  • Collaborate with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team to develop and implement behavior goals and objectives for students.
  • Collect and analyze data on student behavior to monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to interventions.
  • Collaborate with parents/guardians to provide guidance, support, and training on behavior management strategies for implementation at home.
  • Attend IEP meetings and provide expertise and recommendations regarding behavioral supports and services for students.
  • Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and trends in the field of behavior analysis and special education.

Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working as a BCBA in a school setting or with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavior analysis principles, methodologies, and strategies.
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and develop behavior intervention plans.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis using behavior tracking software and tools.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with the latest research and practices in the field.

Note: This is a contracted position for the 23/24 school year, with the possibility of renewal.
