Responsibilities:

• Supervises, trains and coaches production associates on a day to day basis.
• Coordinates, maintains and monitors production processes and procedures.
• Monitors and ensures Product Quality is an absolute priority.
• Understand level of scrap and rework in area caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause.
• Report accurate scrap counts to office staff for tracking, labor waste and damaged product on a daily basis.
• Conduct and coordinate routine safety and sanitation inspections to promote employee safety and good housekeeping.
• Responsible for reporting and taking necessary action to prevent food safety and food quality problems from occurring.
• Responsible for following, enforcing General Plant Safety, Food Safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices are priority setting examples to others.
• Reports daily shift notes and production results
• Implements Company and plant procedures and policies
• Holds safety meetings and shift meetings as needed to keep the department functioning
• Coordinate and complete weekly work schedules
• Responsible for completing absentee slips, accident reports and issuing attendance disciplinary warnings per the Absenteeism & Tardiness Policy.
• Other duties as assigned.
