• Be comfortable with computers

The main job responsibilities include:

• Assist the first press operator in the job setup, by learning how to:
  • Change cylinders
  • Hang plate
  • Change blanket
  • Registering color to color of a job
• Assist in the production of a job
• Work on Web press, as required, as part of the training process for becoming a Web press operator.
• Communicate, as needed, press maintenance, supply and safety issues to shift supervisor.
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Operate press in the absence of the first press operator
