Job Description: TRC is now hiring for Cleaning/Sanitation Worker for a great new forward thinking company in the food industry that manufactures healthy and unique plant based protein food. This position will operate and monitor all equipment required to clean production area and assist in product changeovers and relieve extrusion equipment operators as needed. This job may be a split shift position.
- Location: Ormond Beach, FL
- Number of Openings: 1
- Starting Pay Rate: $17-$19/hr
- Starting Date: ASAP
- Hours: 1pm - 9:30pm
- Type: This is a Temp to Hire permanent career opportunity.
- Foaming and scrubbing of production equipment, floors, walls etc. and sanitizing all surfaces clean for production runs
- Interior cleaning of production and non-production areas to Allergen Control Standards
- May be asked to assist other team members on the food production line
- Will be exposed to chemical cleaning solution (with protective gear)
- Will dismantle, clean and reassemble machine equipment
- Will perform safety inspections, maintain routine cleaning log and keep accurate sanitation records
Skills & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to speak, read and write in English
- Previous work experience in a Food Plant Sanitation or Janitorial experience is highly preferred
- Previous experience in cleaning positions and understands food sanitization procedures
- Must be able to meet output standards and meet schedules and deadlines assigned
- Must be able to use a computer to enter information and handle paperwork
