Thompson First Group is seeking a 3rd Shift Production Supervisor for a permanent opportunity for a local client in Smithfield, NC.

Candidates with a background working in a supervision capacity within a production facility are encouraged to apply.

Shifts:

• Third: 11 pm to 7:30 am

Description of Duties/Responsibilities

• Directs shift thermoforming group employees.
• Provide leadership to solve machine and process related problems of machinery as needed to meet quality requirements and production goals.
• Maintains documentation necessary for job tracking, inventory control, efficiency analysis and operations to include recording production data and ensuring that jobs are running at or above quoted cycle speeds with acceptable scrap rates.
• Manage production related documentation from each shift to plant management Ensure the completeness and accuracy of all production reporting from production
• Adhere to the plant priority and provide guidance on the daily production schedule to meet customer needs.
• Ensure safe working conditions in production areas by maintaining high levels of organization and cleanliness. Ensure that established safe working procedures are followed and that all employees work in a safe manner. Sets the example of safety compliance on and off the floor.
• Maintains a comprehensive, documented safety program that includes all areas of production.
• Maintain a high level of cooperation with all other departments or group managers and supervisors as needed to accomplish mutual plant performance objectives.
• Demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity each day and report any perceived breach of this kind to the HR Manager.
• Perform other work as directed by the Plant Manager
