Provide programmatic and event support to the Clemson Extension 4-H Youth Development and Agricultural Education Program Teams and related programming efforts. Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
50% - Essential - Event Support - Assist with the preparation, marketing, registration, logistics, paperwork, compliance, record keeping, and implementation for various statewide events for the 4-H Youth Development and Agricultural Education Extension program teams. Promote events on social media platforms, the Clemson University Calendar, 4-H/Ag Ed Extension websites, and other media outlets aligned with faculty and staff needs. Coordinate activities for the State 4-H and Ag Ed Offices. Coordinate special projects and events, gather and prepare various types of confidential correspondence, reports, and presentations as requested. Assist State 4-H and Ag Ed Offices with supportive functions including, but not limited to, event promotion, media releases, communications, site preparedness, and MOUs/contracts with other universities, event sites, or organizations.
25% - Essential - Enrollment Coordination and Compliance - Update and maintain statewide 4-H enrollment system (4HOnline 2.0), which captures youth memberships, volunteer applications, payments, consents, and registrations. Train users (state faculty/staff, agents, and admins), validate approvals, and pull reports as needed. Serve as State 4-H Office liaison with enrollment system company. Work with youth development Extension faculty and staff to monitor compliance in the Pre-Collegiate Program Office's Youth Safety Portal.
25% - Essential - Data management - Organize and maintain records related to statewide 4-H and Ag Ed Extension programming efforts. Provide support to State 4-H and Ag Ed Extension Office faculty and staff. Maintain monthly vehicle report and compile quarterly vehicle reports. Maintain property control records. Maintain filing system that includes program files for audits and civil rights compliance. Handle mail and other correspondence. Direct phone calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate travel arrangements for state delegations to national 4-H/Ag Ed youth programs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education - A bachelor's degree and relevant program experience or an approved acceptable equivalency in accordance with State Human Resources Regulations.
