Mayo University Hospital (MUH) provides acute and specialist care to meet the health care needs of >130,000 people living in the county and neighbouring counties. As a Model 3 Hospital MUH provides a range of services, has >340 beds, an outpatient department, theatres suite and ambulatory care suite. The hospital currently employs a staff of >1400 staff and is part of the Saolta University Healthcare Group.
