THE GO-TO GURU TO HELP CREATE, COORDINATE, & DISTRIBUTE STICKER AND ACCESSORY PROJECTS.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We're looking for the next great creative/logistical mind to join our Line Development TEAM. Our ideal candidate is a progressive, forward-thinker, with a continuous improvement mindset, looking to help move our creative process forward.

This position will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Accessories division from within Line Development, and work with in-house and outsourced production to maximize efficiency of the art we create. While this position will not be creating art, they will need to have a great proficiency of the creative process and a keen eye for designs that will resonate with our various customer bases and across multiple product lines. This is preferred to be an on-site role at our Detroit Lakes, MN headquarters.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours TBD.

A Typical Day (job functions) | Buddy up with Marketing to WOW Our Customers

• Plan, direct and coordinate with Creative Directors to get samples ordered for Trade Shows and showrooms
• Assist with keeping rack displays merchandised and full of new product
• Execute concepts and place orders for accessory sample launches
• Merchandise showrooms and displays to keep sticker racks fresh and new throughout our Detroit Lakes Headquarters
• Develop and follow systems/procedures/standardization of art flow from creation through sampling process
• Collaborate with creative teams from Resort, College & Yesterdays to identify garment art comps to produce in sticker designs
• Coordinate development and sampling of new sticker art for new garment and art releases
• Work with Line Development to ensure art direction and visual presentation delivers intended result on sticker designs
• Work with creative and production art to ensure correct and consistent sizing of stickers
• Proofing to maintain accessory quality standards
• Work with creative and production on developing new accessories
• Gather and select designs to be featured in division catalogs by pulling reports from Sauron
• Work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment
• Product presentations for customer/rep visits and Sales Conferences
• Promotes and displays Lakeshirts' core values on a daily basis
• Follows safety practices. Identifies problems and works to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards
• Works actively with others in the department and company to achieve positive results
• Attend all scheduled meetings
• Other responsibilities as directed

Skills (qualifications) | Adaptability to Change + Details, Details, Details + Teamwork

• High school education is required
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook required
• Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal & written), be flexible with the daily schedule, organized, adapt to change, reliable, diplomatic, enthusiastic, courteous, follow the agenda and standards, patient and personable
• Illustrating background and experience with Illustrator and Photoshop or similar programs a plus
• Ability to work well within a team

• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and follow through
