Job Purpose
As an Account Director with Circus Street you are the face of the programs with our clients. Your main focus will be to manage the day-to-day of our large-scale learning programs with the mindset of seeking opportunities within the account for growth. As part of a global team led by the Account Director, you will need to be a collaborative individual who is seen as a great team player. You will serve as a mentor to the account executives and coordinators with your team.
A Day in the Life
  • Act as the primary owner for Tier 1 accounts and responsible for delivering renewal and growth opportunities across accounts with high focus on signing multi-year agreements.
  • Act as a leader within the team by coaching AMs and SAMs on Tier 2 accounts
  • Provide up to date information on revenue forecasts and account activity using Circus Street sales tools (i.e. Salesforce, Notion, etc.)
  • Drive account plans and execute tactics such as outreach approach, lesson plans, subject matter expert interviews, etc.
  • Escalate key information within accounts to VP (ie.: high risks, blockers, super users, program events)
  • Develop outstanding, consultative client relationships with key stakeholders, subject matter experts and decision makers
  • Uncover new prospects and opportunities within accounts and across global sales team
  • Work collaboratively with Customer Success team and Data & Insights teams on relevant program projects
  • Gather regular, effective and relevant feedback to help provide ROI and secure renewals
  • Be an excellent communicator with your clients, within the account management team, upwards to senior management, and across the wider business
  • Understand the digital landscape - be able to talk to clients with authority around Circus Street lessons and the training that we provide
  • Be able to confidently discuss your clients’ key digital objectives, skills gaps and program goals (Many of these clients will be CPG, Retail, Pharma, or Automotive)
  • Be creative in problem solving for your client base and in delivering new ideas and opportunities for growth
You’re Good At
  • 5+ years experience in account management
  • Ability to gain access and engage credibly with senior decision makers within our accounts
  • A consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and drive, with the ability to persuade and inspire
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant computer applications and Salesforce
  • An ability to work to tight deadlines with great attention to detail
  • High degree of self-motivation, as well as being a positive team player
  • Excellent time management
