Location: South Hub (Kildare to Cork) ( Field Based, with an expectation that the successful candidate would spend a min of 70% of their time in South Hub)
Will include evening work and day work as required
Travel requirements: Regular Customer Meetings, regional meetings and SJG/Roe & Co Distillery. The successful candidate will need a full clean Irish driving license and at least 12 months driving history.

The Challenge
This is a new and exciting role, focused on developing Diageo’s luxury spirits portfolio in the top venues in Ireland through distribution, training, visibility, and brand events, to win spirits share and deliver outstanding consumer spirit experiences.
  • Do you want to work with the top spirits venues in Ireland to deliver unique experiences? In this tole you will partner and collaborate with Owners, General Managers, top Mixologists, and the best bartenders in the country.
  • Are you commercially savvy with the ability to strike commercial deals? You will be curating commercial agreements matching customer and business needs.
  • Can you identify customer and consumer needs and deliver joint brand activation and training plans to meet those needs?
  • Are you creative with an eye for detail? You will be working with Diageo and Customers to coordinate the brilliant implementation of training and brand programs, consumer experiences and events through a brand portfolio?

Organisation:
  • Reports to Head of Strategic Accounts, with direct responsibility for the spirits portfolio performance in most influential and Strategic partners across the On-Trade Channel.
The Team
  • There are 3 commercial regions, each supported by a dedicated customer marketing lead along with our national luxury brand ambassadors.
Key outcomes of the Role:
  • Win Market Share of spirits.
  • Beat the competition by ensuring that the Diageo luxury portfolio is pouring or has cocktail status in the most influential customers and strategic groups by developing and agreeing winning pouring/cocktail status commercial customer propositions.
  • Establish brilliant relationship management networks internally and externally
  • Develop Joint Business Plans in collaboration with the customer and other Diageo commercial and brand teams.
  • Generate brand love across key on trade influencers and bar tenders with customized brand training and engagement.
  • Lead M&E activity to ensure we are constantly improving our plans
Decision maker for:
  • Luxury spirits commercial proposals in top 1% and most influential customers/strategic groups
  • Luxury spirits bespoke customer activation plans
  • Menu program design and implementation across customer call file
  • Training program design and implementation
  • Advocacy programs design and implementation
What would you need to demonstrate in order to be successful in this role?
  • Strong Commercial Acuity: Ability to build strong commercial propositions.
  • Entrepreneurial flair to capture customers imagination and build a winning commercial proposition.
  • Amazing relationship building at all levels, internally and externally
  • Activation Expertise – ability to manage complex projects to the highest execution standards, working with agencies and customers to deliver amazing outcomes.
  • Customer Collaboration- direct relationships with our customers’ senior Marketing, Operations and General Manager personnel as well as the staff in field who will help deliver.
  • Planning – capable of using Diageo brands & category insights in order to build joint and bespoke activity with strategic groups / On Trade operators.
  • You can successfully operate with CMO/brand teams and the brand homes, in order to manage implementation of programs, access brand assets and deliver impact for agreed activities within your Account base
  • You are commercially curious and want to win and make a difference.
