The Role:
The Account Executive is responsible for helping attract new customers for our product or services in the Nordics, Benelux and CEE Region. The primary objective of this position is to achieve or exceed the sales goals or target set for each quarter. Sales collaborates with other departments to sell the product and services leaving our customers extremely satisfied.
Responsibilities:- Executes on sales strategy, goals, objectives, and implementation plans to close sufficient new business to achieve sales quotas.
- Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Attends business networking groups representing the company in a positive manner and building relationships with key players.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential businesses.
- Executes on sales activities to establish and enhance market presence and lead flow.
- Develops and maintains a consistent pipeline and qualifies new business leads.
- Evaluates and responds to formal Requests for Proposal or Requests for Information.
- Works closely with Sales Engineers to answer technical questions and proactively present the value added by our products.
- Execute marketing initiatives in support of sales activities as needed/requested.
- Achieves and maintains rapport with customers and works to give them the best possible service through the sales cycle.
- Works closely with other departments to ensure completion of the sale and/or customization needs.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending training, reviewing professional publications.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Will meet the minimum expected timeline and attempts for contacting and following up on our customer leads.
- Competency in Outbounding: Demonstrated ability to generate own business through skilled and dedicated out bounding efforts utilising all available tools in Tech Stack – e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, ZoomInfo, Vidyard etc.
- Ability to Multitask: Proven ability to manage multiple issues and/or projects successfully bringing them all to resolution in a timely manner.
- Channel Awareness: Familiarity with Channel and it’s functions along with an understanding of how to successfully partner with Channel in The Nordics, Benelux and CEE regions to promote mutual success. Existing Channel relationships that can leveraged are a bonus.
- Problem Solving: Anticipates problems, recognizes, and accurately evaluates the signs of a problem and analyses current procedures for possible improvements.
- Customer Service: Listens and responds effectively to customer questions; resolves customer problems to the customer’s satisfaction. Respects all internal and external customers and uses a team approach when dealing with customers in order to exceeding customer expectations.
- Detail Orientation: Thoroughness in accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small. Monitors and checks work or information and plans and organizes time and resources efficiently.
- 3-5 years of previous sales experience with proven track record in commission role.
- Confident and assertive approach with the ability to deal with difficult situations.
- Ability to network and build trust both internally and externally.
- Ability to navigate and bring clarity to complex situations.
