As an Account Executive of Partnerships and Sponsorships for The Atlanta Journal Constitution and its brands, you will have the opportunity to provide businesses sponsorship activation opportunities locally and regionally with AJC Live, Dawgnation, and Access Atlanta branded events...as well as partnerships around our Content Studio. In addition, provide your clients opportunities to associate their brand with content that matters to them, local initiatives, and cause marketing. What You'll Do
You'll be directly responsible for developing client relationships and growing revenues primarily from prospective accounts. You'll meet and exceed your sales goals - and therefore maximize your commissions earned. This position requires in-depth knowledge and continual education in event sponsorships, digital media marketing and advertising strategies. It also means you will need excellent problem-solving skills and a creative mind so that you can develop and recommend the best solutions to meet client needs.

- You'll demonstrate your high-level understanding of event and content sponsorship space, educating your customers on anticipated results from successful partnerships.
- You'll be responsible for generating event (live and virtual) revenues independently and collaboratively. Your primary focus will be to grow your independent desk revenues through new business development.
- You'll have the option to recommend the best solution for your clients, selecting from any or all of the following products, Event experiences, branded content, content partnerships and digital marketing.

- A bachelor's degree preferred but may substitute additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
- You'll need a minimum of 3-years in sales experience
- We'd prefer experience in one or more of following sales fields: event sponsorships, partnership development, branded content, content partnerships, digital marketing, digital and/or traditional media sales.
- Bonus points if you have trusted advisor status with businesses who will be interested to hear about your new role and all it can do to help grow their business.
