Southwire Job Description
- Maintain a high level of communication and proactive interaction with the buying staff and/or store associates
- Manage and coordinate daily routines of customer service including but not limited to, quotations, order
- Responsible for maintaining customer price sheets and making recommendations on future price changes
- Provide sales and marketing analysis and expediting.
- Maintain ongoing correspondence with designated Southwire sales agents responsible for given customer
- Use Southwire Wire and Cable division’s ISO Quality System Documentation to help guide and direct
- Initiate service requests when necessary and financial adjustments, when a credit or debit is due to the
- Request and coordinate assistance from Technical Support and/or Product Managers to resolve customer
- Maintain a close relationship with the Accounts Receivable in order to review and offer assistance in
- Assist the Accounts Receivable Manager with uploading documents into The Home Depot Portal
- Researching payments and deductions. Reviewing Return Goods Authorizations. Focus is on processing
- Perform research of deductions to determine root cause.
- Proactively review the remittance advice to identify issues and resolve them before they become bigger
- Keep field sales representatives/agents informed on status of orders, return material and customer concerns
- Perform in a team environment by achieving personal territory goals and functioning as support for members
- Learn in detail and in depth, the make-up of the Southwire product line.
- Possess conversational knowledge of Southwire sales policies and procedures in order to understand
- Monitor key measurements for the assigned territory/territories and customers.
1.Requires a High School degree
2.At least two years business experience required. Retail sale experience preferred
3.Must have Windows experience, as well as being proficient with Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel,
and/or Powerpoint)
4.Must have good speaking and writing skills.
5.Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of responsibility at Southwire, along with industry
representatives, and corporate buying staff.
6.Ability to handle multiple tasks and willingness to accept new responsibilities is a plus.
