Job description

Currently seeking an Accountant to join our team. They will be responsible for general accounting tasks including support on month end closing, accounts reconciliation and job analysis as well as entire payroll cycle and related reports. The person will be working with the Controller.

Accountant Specialist Duties:
" Reconcile daily bank deposits and other transactions
" Audit and review proper job & GL account coding on various postings
" Assist controller on month-end close process, including filing of statutorily reports.
" Analyze closed job margins to identify under performing projects
" Collate and reconcile monthly bank statements
" Prepare and analyze Payroll related reports as requested
" Track and record employee PTO
" Payroll Processing
" Submit retirement contributions for 401k deductions and matching contributions

Qualifications
A desired candidate will have the following qualifications
" 2+ years' experience preferred
" Above average Microsoft Office Suite use, particularly Excel (particular working knowledge of v-lookups, pivot tables, and other formulas), Outlook and Word
" Occasionally able to lift/move up to 25 pounds
" Excellent numerical and analytical skills
" Familiarity with maintaining records of assets and liabilities
" Ability to problem solve and work with little direction
