Job description

We are hiring an Accountant for one of our clients in Des Moines, IA.

Job Description:

• Accounting review and approval of all expense reports in Workday and Unanet, expense requests in Unanet, and spend authorizations in Workday, ensuring compliance with the Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) State Accounting Enterprise (SAE) travel policies for in-state and out-of-state travel.
• Responsible for gathering receipts and preparing the monthly reconciliation for the US Bank monthly invoice associated with the travel card usage, and submit the invoice for payment in the I/3 system.

Skills Required:

• Experience using the State of Iowa Integrated Information for Iowans (I/3) system is strongly preferred.
• Communicate information effectively and in appropriate format and detail to customers.
• Familiarity with entering information into a spreadsheet is required, organized and has proficiency in Excel.

Education Required:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree preferred
