Essential Job Functions:
Manages the A/R functions
Works with customers and ensures that invoices are paid on time and payments are posted accurately
Ensures credit limits are followed, before shipments to customers happen
Prepares daily and weekly General accounting reports
ADP Daily Hours Report
Overtime Report
Absenteeism Report
Completes balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month end close process
Supports the Monthly Variable Spending analysis for Dashboard reporting
Includes: Freight, Supplies and Sterilization
Backups Responsible for the following tax related activity:
IVU tax returns
SURI releases
Analyzes General Ledger account
Works to automate divisional and corporate reporting
Assures Sarbanes Oxley Compliance
Prepares GL vs FS Reconciliation
Prepares Payroll Register vs GL Reconciliation
Assures the administration and compliance to corporate and divisional policies and procedures
Assists in coordination of year-end closing and external audit
Supports the SSC with regards to AP and Intercompany transactions and Concur expense reporting
Supports the cost accounting team
Closing work orders, analyzing variances and solving discrepancies
Backups for Payroll Accounting Clerk:
Analyzes time and attendance reports for non-exempt employees, ensuring that calculated hours are in accordance to the legal requirements and Company policies
Prepares the weekly and semi-monthly payroll and submit to the Corporate system
Received, verifies and audits against the payroll register all the personnel changes notices (PCN’s) to the Corporate system
Prepares payroll monthly accruals
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and or Finance
Three (3) to five (5) years related accounting experience
Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level skills in MS Excel and MS Word
Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in so doing perform each crucial duty satisfactorily
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and must have good communication skills both oral and written
Teamwork oriented
Additional Desirable Qualifications Skills and Knowledge:
Experience with JD Edwards Financial Software
Experience with BPC Financial Software
Experience with ADP Payroll Software
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
