Accounting Clerk

Job Responsibilities:

Daily accounting activities required to maintain the general ledger.
Manages, reconciles, and audits Commissions Receivable.
Conducts cash and credit account reconciliations.
Manages accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections, sales tax reporting, fixed asset activity, payroll, inventory management, debt activity, recording of revenue and expenses.
Maintains organized set of detailed records and files to document financial transactions.
Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Complies with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
Records sales and processes customer quotes to service order status
Creates purchase orders and places orders with vendors.
Performs quarterly physical count of inventory.

Job Requirements:

Associates Degree in Accounting or Related field

2+ years' experience in Accounting
