Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable in its entirety:
- Ensure purchase orders are completed timely and accurately
- Ensure receiving is completed timing and accurately
- Follow up on the end of month open purchase order report to ensure all items are received in the appropriate month
- Receive all invoices both food and beverage and non food and beverage
- Manage/monitor Cap Gemini in their processing of invoices
- Ensure they are being done timely and accurately
- Process urgent requests when necessary
- Enter all new vendors into Birchstreet timely
- Manage/resolve all vendor inquiries
Manage Income Audit in its entirety:
- Complete daily journal entries as required
- Balance all clearing accounts
- Balance gift cards
- Post Jonas membership postings daily
- Balance all revenues to the back up provided
- Work with Cap Gemeni to ensure accurate processing of work
- Assist in Resort Suite transition
Additional essential functions:
- Cross train to assist in membership to cover when needed
- Cross train to assist with General Cashier functions to cover when needed
- Assist in month end entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with month-end food and beverage inventories and spot checks
- Any other projects as requested by DOF and ADOF
- handle all customer/associate inquiries in a timely, efficient manner
- Accounts Payable and Income Audit experience required
- Prior experience working in hotel finance strongly preferred
- Must be able move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance.
- Must be able to work with and understand financial information data, and basic arithmetic functions.
- Must maintain composure, objectivity, and flow of work while handling multiple priorities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel required
- Organizational skills for efficient office control
- Ability to communicate professionally at all levels of the organization and external contacts.
- Effective decision making skills.
- Must have the ability to utilize telephone/computer for an extended period.
Pay: $21.00 - 23.00/hour. The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
