Accounting Manager, Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets

KLA is looking for a US Accounting Manager to join our accounting team. This position will report directly to the Director of Accounting and will be responsible for the full-cycle accounts payable and fixed asset process. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and leadership skills, good critical thinking, and excellent communication skills. The individual in this highly visible role will be able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, process driven environment while driving continuous improvement efforts that allow for scalability, improved quality and reduced risk to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for full-cycle US legal entities Accounts Payable and Fixed Asset processes and serve as the main point of contact for all AP and FA related topics
Plan and lead a team of 14 in both US and India (contractors) to achieve established critical metrics
Ensure payments are processed accurately, timely, and efficiently as per company established protocols
Oversee all transaction processing for inventory and expense invoices, procurement cards, fixed asset acquisitions/transfers/retirements, and payment applications
Continuously monitor and adjust fraud protocols according to recent trends
Represent the company and provide excellent communication and follow-up, both internally and externally
Resolve all vendor account critical issues in a timely manner by obtaining and investigating information from cross-functional teams and vendors
Manage and review monthly/quarterly reconciliations and analyses of GL accounts to ensure accurate and timely reporting, responsible for all close related processes
Document and maintain policies/procedures for AP & FA processes
Build and maintain relationships across the organization, particularly with procurement and vendor management
Lead and/or participate in US/Global process automation initiatives, collaborating with systems, data and accounting teams
Participate in various 3rd party merger and acquisition projects representing AP and FA activities up to and including integration onto our corporate systems
Prepare and review annual 1099/1042 reports and related tax filings
Manage and coordinate efforts for biennial fixed asset cycle counts
Qualifications/Education Desired
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related area; 7+ years of multi-national accounts payable manager experience in tech, with track record of growing responsibilities
Excellent analytical capabilities including Microsoft Excel skills and spreadsheet analysis techniques required with strong attention to detail
A collaborative teammate, able to partner with internal and external contacts at all levels
Build positive relationships within finance and non-finance teams to make recommendations, implement process/policies, etc.
Ability to effectively shift between strategic objectives and hands-on daily duties.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Level Degree or work experience of 6 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 7 years

Pay: $180,000.00 - $184,000.00 per year
