Job description
The Accounting Manager will be responsible for preparing and analyzing accounting information and financial reports and the maintenance of the Company's general ledger.
· Drive and manage the entire accounting close process to meet deadlines
· Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts
· Assist in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamic Financials includes designing systems and processes, migrating data, testing, and training
· Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
· Deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spending against budgets/outlook
FUNCTIONS & RESPONSABILITIES:
· Responsibility for cash forecasting, accounts payable, general ledger variance analysis, account reconciliations, etc.
· Monitor and analyze accounting data
· Implement and perform accounting KPIs
· Regularly produce financial reports or statements
· Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics
· Previous experience working with Financial Statement Audits
· Proficiency in the general ledger
· Good understanding of Financial Statements
· Month-end closings
· Post Journal Entries
· Financial statement preparation experience highly valued
· General familiarity with Ledger Journal Entries
