As our Accounting Operations Coordinator, you are integral in keeping our operations running smoothly. You will work alongside our small team, supporting both accounting and operations. Accounting Operations Coordinator - Your Job Duties:
In addition to accounting, you will assist with full-cycle office operations functions from supporting order intake through receivables collections and some logistics support. You will:

  • Receive and enter customer orders into QuickBooks
  • Create all customer invoices using QuickBooks (estimate about 150 invoices per month)
  • Collect customer payments, review the accounts receivable aging for outstanding receivables, follow up
  • Process payroll bi-weekly through Gusto software
  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly
  • Generate financial statement reports through QuickBooks
  • Deposit checks using check scanner. Create checks for CEO and COO to review and sign.
  • Assist with inventory tracking using MS Excel and accounting software
  • Send email reminders to customers communicating upcoming delivery and order timelines
  • Coordinate outgoing shipments with Warehouse Manager and arrange freight for incoming product shipmentsAssist with eCommerce store including monitoring and receiving orders, printing out packing slips and shipping labels for the Warehouse Manager
Accounting Operations Coordinator Required Experience Skills:
You have:
  • Prior experience and expertise in QuickBooks you can easily navigate QuickBooks and enter invoices and generate reports
  • Comfort with working in MS Excel you can generate and work within a spreadsheet, basic formulas
  • Excellent organizational skills and a SUPER attention to detail. You pride yourself on your data entry accuracy and a high attention to detail
  • Able to work in office daily in West Sacramento
  • Comfort with supporting accounting, logistics and whatever else is necessary, without ego you are working in a closely held company where priorities may shift, everyone wears a lot of hats and flexibility and teamwork is needed
This role is 100% in office. Compensation $25 to $35 per hour, overtime eligible. You will be provided medial insurance with company contribution, paid holidays, and 401k with company match.
