This Accounting Specialist Position Features:
Immediate need for an Accounting Specialist at this well-known, stable, and large company providing financial services in the trucking industry. This position as an Accounting Specialist will be in charge of the entire accounting and tax process within this company.
This position will also involve working directly with customers, assisting them in their tax and financial needs. This position also entails mentoring and managing any Entry Level Accountants to support their professional development.

Education and/or Experience:
+ Bachelor•s degree is required
+ An equivalent combination of education and experience in business may substitute for a Bachelor•s degree
+ Enrolled Agent or CPA certification is preferred
+ Solid understanding of accounting and income taxes is desired
+ Knowledge of federal and state income tax forms and tax rules and regulations
+ Previous experience using CCH tax software is a plus, but not required
