Job description

Opening for accounting position to prepare and maintain financial procedures. Applicants must have excellent computer skills and strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Google. Experience with QuickBooks is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting functions

• Enter routine Journal entries
• Oversee the auditing process and work closely with auditor to provide accurate information
• Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations
• Assisting in the formulation of the budget and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses
• Manage month end close procedures and ensure timely and accurate closing results, including performing inquiries, as needed, to ensure accuracy of data

Requirements

• Previous experience with QuickBooks
• Experience in accounting field
• Advanced excel skills
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and a data-driven management approach
• Professional communication and presentation skills
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• Excellent computer skills
• Good knowledge of accounting software
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to multitask

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
