Job description

Due to increased expansion, we currently require a Accounting Technician/ Assistant to join our growing team in Limerick. There will be huge amount of support provided and ample learning opportunities.

The successful candidate will have initial responsibility for a range of accounting and financial reporting functions including but not limited to:

  • Payroll, PAYE, VAT, RCT returns.
  • Invoice Processing – Sales & Purchases
  • Customer/Supplier account queries & resolution
  • Processes supplier invoices and match to purchase invoices
  • Reconciliation of creditor statements and handling of related queries.
  • Company accountant communications and assistance with statutory returns.
  • Timesheet and Expense management, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • SAGE data extraction for monthly/quarterly financial reporting and management accounts.
  • Assist with department budgets and costing.
  • Be part of a multi-disciplinary team on prestigious national and international projects.

Sectors; Pharmaceutical, Med-Tech, Utilities, Renewables, Adv. Manufacturing and data center's

Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Ideally 2+ years’ experience in similar role.
  • Have payroll technician or equivalent qualification.
  • Be proficient in payroll and accounts software.
  • Have experience with ROS and real-time reporting
  • Proficient user of MS Office packages including Excel, Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Excellent attention to details and time management.
  • Excellent communication skills & professional level of English.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €35,000.00-€45,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Limerick, County Limerick: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
