Accounts Assistant

Our growing client based in Dublin City Centre is looking for an Accounts Assistant with strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail to join their Dublin finance team.

This role reports directly to the AP Manager and offers hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:

• Review incoming supplier invoices to internal cost reports and contracts
• Liaising with suppliers to resolve all incorrectly billed invoices in a timely manner
• Entering all correctly billed supplier invoices to payable system
• Create and maintain a reconciliation of all invoices to internal cost reports
• Knowledge of VAT and tax handling and reporting of same
• Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
• Experience with group month-end close activities including internal controls
• Review cost accrual file for unbilled items, liaise with related suppliers to issue invoices
• Following up of supplier invoice approval process to ensure invoices are paid on time
• Create and maintain supplier accounts in the accounting system
• Expense and supplier account reconciliation
• Support with the month-end close of Accounts Payables area
• Other ad hoc tasks as required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €40,000.00-€42,000.00 per year
