Job Overview Accounts Assistant|Permanent Opportunity|Midlands Our client is seeking to hire an Accounts Assistant to join their busy and evolving company based in the Midland Portlaois / Tullamore Area. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of their tasks and responsibilities, be keen to develop and be a valued team member within the company as they grow with the position. This role offers the right candidate a variety of responsibilities and tasks. In addition, due to the nature of the company and its exciting phase of growth, flexibility, and desire to be part of the development would be beneficial. The role of Accounts Assistant will be based on site at the company HQ and will collaborate closely with all members of the company, developing a strong relationship at an exciting time. As Accounts Assistant, you will be working to successfully achieve the following General Tasks but not limited to: General Accounts admin Transportation and Haulage administration including Fuel pricing and Haulage load documentation admin Checking Driver load's submissions Checking off P&L for accurate rates and costs Communicating and collaborating with Coillte RE: Trimble generated reports Reconcile supplier account Processing payments Consulting with Subcontractors and Suppliers Sales Accounting Payroll & Revenue (PAYE + VAT) To be successful within this company the following skills and previous knowledge is desired: Strong Communication Skills Proficient in Excel and Microsoft packages Proficient in Sage 50, Trimble, and Proactis Systems Generating reports and cross-referencing vs invoicing records Computer Savvy Organised Worker Accounts Admin experience in trading company (Buying and Selling) Experienced in Reconciliation Experienced in Company Expenses Processing No qualification necessarily is required; however, 2-3 years accounts and administration experience are essential.
