We are seeking an eager, curious, and experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for our Accounts Payable team. This is for a room to grow opportunity!

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Prepare invoice deduction notices, as necessary
• Audit freight bills against freight manifests
• Answer all vendor inquiries
• Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted
• Prepare accounts payable checks
• Print all accounts payable reports and maintain all accounts payable files
• Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
• Assist in monthly closings
• Assist with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary

Here’s what you’ll need:

• 1+ years AP/AR experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products, and the general use of a computer and calculator
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and effective problem-solver
• Advanced computer skills
• High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred

Salary, Location, & Benefits:

• $22-$25 hourly, based upon experience
