Job description
Responsibilities:
- Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs
- Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors
- Analyzing workflow processes
- Processing due invoices for payments
- Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
- Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts
- Assist with audits and resolving discrepancies and with the month-end process including reconciliations
- Performing basic office tasks, such as filing, scanning, data entry, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or minimum of 2-3 years’ AP experience
- Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, and create Outlook emails
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Prompt and punctual
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Math skills to handle financial data
