We are a dynamic and growing company based in Chadds Ford, PA. To support our continued growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team.

Location: Chadds Ford, PA

Compensation: $28-32 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (2/3 days on-site)

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices, matching them to purchase orders and ensuring accuracy of data
• Verify and reconcile invoices, resolving any discrepancies or issues that may arise
• Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding payment status and resolve any payment-related inquiries
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable
• Conduct periodic reviews and audits of accounts payable processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the finance team on special projects and process improvements

Requirements:

• Experience in Project Billing Software like Deltek
• Engineering/Professional/Construction/Distribution Industries preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounts payables
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
• Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
