An Accounts Payable Specialist job in Gratz, PA is available at the MITER BRAND Companies (Milgard Windows and Doors, MI Window and Doors, and Sunrise Windows and Doors). This position will be responsible for entering and compiling data, preparing reports, and auditing reports to ensure vendors are paid accurately, completely and in a timely manner. Accounts Payable Specialist responsibilities include:

• Filing, scanning and general office duties as needed
• Accurately and efficiently matches invoices to receiving paperwork
• Coding of invoices to proper GL accounts
• Data entry using chart of accounts with limited supervision
• Double check variances against purchase orders and other documents
• Handles minor issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
• Performs work under general supervision
• Effectively communicate and actively participate within a goal-oriented team environment
• Assist with year-end audit requests relevant to A/P

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year experience processing accounts payables desired
• Knowledge of internal A/P and accounting policies and procedures
• Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team
• Excellent organizational skills, and detail oriented
• Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Reliable and dependable
• Proficient in excel, MS Word and Outlook
• High school diploma
