Accounts Receivable

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk in the Knoxville area. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing customer invoices, maintaining accurate records of customer payments, and performing collections activities to ensure timely receipt of payments. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Process and distribute customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and track outstanding payments
• Follow up with customers to ensure prompt payment and resolve any billing issues
• Record customer payments accurately and update accounts receivable records
• Reconcile accounts receivable balances with general ledger accounts
• Provide regular reports on accounts receivable status and collections activities
• Maintain accurate customer records and update contact information as needed
• Participate in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts
• Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2yrs experience in accounting required

Details: Hours are 8am to 5pm, M-Th, 8-4pm F; Pay$17-$18 hour; Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria
