Job Description:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support by ensuring the company receives payment for goods and services, recording transactions, and resolving discrepancies in customer accounts according to company policy in a promptly and accurate manner.
This position is a remote position, 99% of the time. We are located in Utah and want a team player that can attend work events locally.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Follow up on past due accounts by contacting customers
· Resolve customer billing and payment issues
· Prepare and transmit remote deposits
· Apply customer payments
· Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted and posted properly
· Reconcile general ledger accounts as needed
· Cross-train in accounts payable functions
· Process customer credit card payments
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Comfortable with frequent phone call conversations to maintain a pleasant business relationship with our customers
· Demonstrate sense of urgency and ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
· Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
· Effective organizational, stress, and time management skills
· High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
· Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
· Knowledge of general accounting principles
· Ability to operate accounting software and Excel proficiently
Qualification:
· Minimum 3 year of experience in customer service or accounts receivable.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
