Accounts Receivable Clerk Permanent Position 42-48K Boston MA (two days onsite and three days Remote) Responsible for assisting the Billing Specialist with managing, researching and resolving denials to effectively reduce losses. Manages full customer billing life cycle, from invoice creation to payment receipt. Prepares thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data. Verifies discrepancies and resolves SCO billing issues and short payments. Maintains and updates customer records in appropriate software. Keys medical claims on insurance websites Researching authorization and coverage denials Vigilant follow up of all denials with regular assigned projects Competencies Knowledge and understanding of billing software and collections procedures. Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc.) Character of integrity and dependability . Organization skills with a keen ability to prioritize. Excellent communication skills. Proactive and resourceful Possesses a positive attitude . Ability to Multitask Attention to accuracy and detail Required Education and Experience: Minimal billing experience required High level Excel and Spreadsheet utilization BA/BS; willing to waive in lieu of experience Ideal candidate would have some experience with Accounts Receivables in the Health care industry Potential candidate must clear CORI background check
