Activities Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Interacts with residents, families, staff, and other visitors in a pleasant, respectful and courteous
• Acts as a positive representative of community at all times.
• Helps to develop programming based on the resident preferences
• Maintains a confidentiality of all resident information
• Complies with Federal and State regulations relative to resident rights issues and quality of life issues.
• Ensure that residents are free from abuse (physicals, verbal and sexual)
• Supports resident independent recreation, based on individual preferences.
• Attends all in-service education programs mandated by CSL, State and Federal guidelines
• Ensures the residents' right to make personal choices in agreement with the residents' service plan.
• Promotes and provides for and assist with residents' participation in activities.
