MONTROSE HEALTHCARE CENTER is looking for a Part-Time Activities Assistant to join our dynamic team.

*Note: Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (with Booster vaccine, if eligible).*

GENERAL SUMMARY :

Responsible in assisting the Director in planning, scheduling, and coordinating meaningful activities appropriate to the needs and interests of the residents and conducive to their physical, mental and social well-being. Helps to ensure the activity programs are appropriately presented by staff.

JOB DETAILS :

• Assist the Activities Director with scheduling and coordinating all resident activities on a monthly basis.
• Use proper body mechanics when necessary.
• Provide companionship and excellent care to residents.
• Prioritize residents' activities based on current care needs.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Other duties will be assigned as needed.

SHIFT REQUIREMENTS:

• Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am to 5:00pm

REQUIREMENTS :

• Full Vaccination against COVID-19 including booster
• Fluent in English and Spanish (preferred)

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) in a Skilled Nursing Facility, or similar environment is a plus, but not required
• Bilingual (in Spanish or Armenian) speaker preferred

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends only
