The basic purpose of this position will be to lead product transfer feasibility assessments, identify and consolidate operational and capital costs to support the respective transfers in collaboration with internal and external stake holders (GS, GFE) from sending and receiving site, as well as external stake holders (Strategy, SSC, Domestic and International Regulatory Affairs) that will decide if Saint Joseph will be the recipient of the new product. This role will be responsible for cross functional coordination and collaboration to deliver the transfers in compliance, with manufacturing reliability equivalent to the sending site, according to committed schedule and financial dimensions defined in the assessment.

Duties & Responsibilities\:

  • Leads engineering assessments required to define capital requirements for the technical transfer and commercialization of the production process in St. Joseph.
  • Defines operational expense to support the technical transfer and associated qualifying serials in collaboration with PTS, Production and Regulatory Affairs and Supply Chain enabling registration within destination markets and minimizing the write off of expired serials and antigen lots.
  • Facilitates Capacity Assessments in collaboration with the Corporate Strategy group to ensure the site can provide sustained supply at defined CSL levels.
  • Represents the site at SSC meetings where the transfer projects are assessed for viability
  • Functions as Project Lead for high complexity transfers (multi-product/ multi- antigen).

Requirements\:

  • Bachelors Science Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • In addition to bachelor's degree a minimum of seven (7) years relevant product transfer and/or product technology experience in a cGMP manufacturing environment or similar organization.
  • Experience must be inclusive of leading and guiding multidisciplinary teams and projects engaged in Vaccine Production activities.
  • Technical Assessments of Unit Operations.
  • Knowledge of Vaccine Production Technology.
  • Skilled Project Management.
  • Clear Concise Communication.

Eligibility Requirements\:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
