Adjunct Faculty, Film and Video Studies – Sound Editing & Recording
Film and Video Studies at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA is looking for an Adjunct Instructor for Fall 2023 semester to teach courses in Sound Editing and Recording. Courses begin August 21 and run for 15 weeks to the first week in December.
Candidates must have teaching experience and extensive work in Sound Editing and Recording. A terminal degree (MFA) is recommended, but not required for this opportunity. Please see information for adjunct instructors at Mason.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sound or Film;
- Successful experience teaching college level;
- Ability to work with colleagues and students from diverse backgrounds; and
- Established reputation as a Sound Artist.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Sound or Film.
