Job description
The Nick is a non-profit organization that constructs and manages recreational facilities in service to the Lakes Region of NH. The Nick is seeking a part-time detail-oriented professional Administrative Assistant to support our Executive Director and perform secretarial and administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant works under the supervision of the Executive Director to provide the support and organization needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the office.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for clerical and administrative functions, including but not limited to:
· Management of the office's day-to-day operations, including problem-solving
· Oversight and maintenance of security systems, office computers, electronics, and donor database
· Oversight of all official records, filing systems, and schedules
· Processing invoicing and tracking payments and donations.
· Greeting and assisting visitors
· All general correspondence via phone, email, and social media
· Inventory and ordering of office supplies.
· Responding to phone, email, and social media correspondence
· Report preparation and basic bookkeeping
· Perform other duties as assigned
· Maintaining a high degree of discretion when handling confidential information on all matters affecting the integrity of the office.
Required Qualifications
· Completion of an Associate or Bachelor's degree and experience in a similar position OR any equivalent combination of education and experience demonstrating the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
· Has effective communication skills, including verbal, non-verbal, written, visual, and listening. For communication to be effective, it must be clear, complete, concise, and compassionate.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs– most importantly Word, Excel, Google Drive, and Email
· Proficiency and aptitude for learning basic computer skills, internet tools and platforms, and software and programming skills.
· Proficiency in social media – most importantly, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
· Able to pass a criminal background check.
· Honest, organized, punctual, self-driven, and able to multi-task effectively.
· Possess good time-management skills and can prioritize completing all tasks on time.
· Demonstrates a high standard of professionalism and integrity.
· Able to work well under pressure and openly receive feedback.
· Is a team player and a member of the greater Wolfeboro community and strongly desires to give back to their community.

· Ability to lift 25 pounds
