Sovereign Brands is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Highland Park, IL. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with all departments in the company and will also support the Executive Management team. This position will be responsible for general office management & support, product development, brand registration & licensing, and vendor relations.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to executive management team
  • General administrative and office management duties
  • Maintain a detailed and organized filing process for new product development
  • Packing and shipping samples
  • Arranging messenger pick up or delivery
  • Organizing and ordering office supplies
  • Keeping office organized and in a neat and clean environment
  • Interpret data obtained from market research and surveys and utilize data to make effective business decisions
  • Contact potential customers through emails, telephone, etc.
  • Establish good working relationships and rapport with clients
  • Research new product ideation and competitive information
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage projects from inception to final execution with little supervision
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines and going the extra mile
  • Ability to multi-task

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
