Job Title: Homecare Administrative Assistant II

Job Summary: Enhances the Home Care program by providing excellent reception skills and administrative support. Takes ownership of the physical and virtual workspace, and contributes to the overall success of the office.

Reports To: Home Care Office Coordinator

FLSA: Non-exempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSof the job:

Answers and directs a large volume of calls to both internal and external sources. Establishes a compassionate and respectful environment by practicing good communication skills; Provides excellent customer service in line with Full Life Care’s culture and values;

Welcomes visitors warmly and promptly as they enter the building. Assists guests and colleagues by answering questions, referring questions and concerns to the appropriate team members, and providing other assistance as requested;

Maintains client information by organizing virtual and physical filing systems. Inputs, updates, and processes database information while preparing reports as needed; Ensures client files are created and terminated properly;

Responsible for the timely completion of tasks related to HCA employment and recruitment including but not limited to: employee intake, file maintenance, orientation, continuing education, and evaluation scheduling;

Organizes, logs, and distributes PPE to visiting employees. Verifies that incoming orders of PPE are accounted for. Maintains inventory of office supplies, and orders supplies as needed;

Assists the Home Care program with communicating, mailing, and messaging Home Care workers;

Upholds and maintains the office COVID-19 response. Assists guests with screening, and sanitizes common surfaces;

Maintains a safe and healthy work environmentby addressing potential safety and health hazards, follows emergency policy and procedures, and fulfills education and certification requirements;

Works independently and/or within a team on special ongoing and nonrecurring projects;

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS of the job:

Complete projects and tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:

Two or more years of related homecare experience or.

Associate degree in a general study or related field and one or more years’ experience.

Working knowledge of PCs including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

Physical Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:

Must be able to lift 25 lbs, and work quickly in a fast-paced work environment.

Must be able to operate office equipment including but not limited to computer keyboard, multi-line phone system, fax and copy machines.

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
