KHT is currently seeking a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to help our team. This person is an important part of the law firm’s public image. As the voice and first face in the law firm’s office, the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant is the clients’ first impression of the firm. This person is responsible for producing correspondence, memos, direct mail letters and envelopes, scheduling, building estate plan portfolio binders, as well as other routine clerical tasks such as operating copiers, filing, answering telephones, and sorting and distributing mail. This person helps the paralegals and attorneys, pitching in to do any task to keep the law firm operating smoothly.
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday; 8:00am-4:00pm
Compensation: $16 - 18 / hr. DOE
What you'll do:
- Answer and direct all incoming calls and Schedule appointments for professionals in the office as directed.
- Distribute phone messages by e-mail to other team members, and distribute all incoming mail and other packages.
- Warmly greet all clients, vendors and prospects that visit the office. Announce their arrival immediately to the person who will be meeting them.
- Responsible for producing correspondence, print and send correspondence and letters as requested by team members in the law firm, building estate plan portfolio binders, as well as other routine clerical tasks such as operating copiers, filing, and sorting and distributing mail.
- Responsible to update reception/assistant policies and procedures in order to ensure efficient operation of front desk.
- Assist with inventory of supplies
- Serve as administrative support to all departments as needed
- Participate in staff meetings, including providing input to law firm operations and procedures.
