REPORTS TO: Director of Pupil Services and Supports

PURPOSE:
Under general supervision, provides support to the teaching staff of KCSD by assisting the Director and Supervisors in the Pupil Services/Special Education Department. This position is responsible for supporting the department with day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks.

KEY PROJECTS/RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:
  • Administrative supports for Director and Supervisors of Pupil Services Department
  • Support Early Intervention process
  • Support Extended School Year (ESY) Program
  • IEP Writer administrator
  • Processing/Follow-up of Permissions to Evaluate
  • Submission of Child Count
  • Skyward interface
  • Support 504 paperwork
  • Process records requests
  • Process OT/PT request for screening and evaluations
  • Schedule psychiatric evaluations for students
  • A/P coding and invoicing
  • Order supplies and software for all special education teachers and psychologists
  • Any other duties as assigned by the Director of Pupil Services

REQUIREMENTS: High School diploma, highly proficient and comfortable with technology and software, excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task effectively, proven work record of excellent attendance and performance. Successful candidates must present recent clearances for Act 34, 114, 151, and 168.

Previous School District employment preferred.
