Administrative Support Assistant II (Temporary)(Multiple Positions)(UPDATED)
Job description
The Administrative Support Assistant II will assist in the Interprofessional Clinical and Professional Skills Center (ICaPS). Reporting to the Director, Center Operations, this role will perform professional-level work supporting the Standardized Patient (SP) Program within UA Health Sciences. The role will require collaboration with standardized patients and staff within the Interprofessional Clinical and Professional Skills Center (ICaPS) and will focus on the the administrative aspects of event management. This is a 3 month temporary position with the possibility to extend to 6 months if necessary.

- In conjunction with the education and operations teams, assist with event set-up, take down, and restocking of 30 room teaching clinic.
- In conjunction with Director of Center Operations, assist with event schedules, learner materials/clip boards, sign-in sheets, payroll review, and cross checking assignments in CAE LearningSpace.
- Assist Interprofessional Clinical and Professional Skills Center (ICaPS) team with computer prep for events, including computer inventory (logging in and out before and after event), troubleshooting computer issues, setting up Zoom for remote events, assisting learners and standardized patients with log in to CAE LearningSpace, camera adjustment during event, and assisting faculty in the monitoring room to review live or recorded encounters.
- Provides guidance and assistance as needed to Standardized Patients, students, faculty, and other staff on policies, practices and procedures. May oversee the work of students.
- Other duties as assigned (email correspondence, attend team meetings, proctor events, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience with computers and Zoom.
- Must be able to manage several projects concurrently and prioritize tasks.
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to exercise discretion in working with highly confidential and sensitive matters.
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Three (3) years of relevant experience required.
