Riverside Recovery of Tampa is a substance abuse center offering a full continuum of care for men and women suffering from addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for answering all inbound admissions and business development phone calls
- Greet all new admissions and complete intake process/paperwork for clients
- Responsible for meeting with clients and assist in assessing clinically and medically to approve client for admission
- Identifies, builds, and maintains relationships with key referral partners
- Manages all client related communication and CRM documentation in house and remotely, via Riverside provided cell phone and laptop. Communication may frequently fall outside of regular business hours (including nights and weekends).
- Able to assess client for any potential harmful tendencies requiring immediate action
- Converts a general inquiry to an admission by managing the process from first call to intake
- Possesses the ability to multi-task, work independently with minimal supervision, and problem solve through a variety of scenarios
- Knowledge of and ability to review insurance plans in making determination of eligibility of self-paying clients
- Able to negotiate with insurance company and make quick decisions to determine if coverage for services and eligibility and approval of self-pay clients
- Ability to make quick, important, and educated decisions on admits that affect other departments and the flow of the company
- Responsible for helping drive growth with regard to census/revenue. Under the direction of the Director of Admissions, works to meet census objectives.
- Builds and maintains productive interdepartmental relationships
- Coordinators must have the skills and competency to communicate with people at all levels of the organization, including- executive management, patients, and external agencies
- Documents each call/referral and all conversations in Salesforce
- Coordinates and completes assessment/consultation or referral and provides tours
- Coordinates transportation when applicable
- Conducts follow-up calls as appropriate
- Reports results of shift activity
- Participates in referral training as appropriate
- Obtains/completes insurance verification
- Ability to conduct pre-admission procedures appropriately, i.e., pre-admission screenings; insurance verification; quote financial obligations/benefits; obtain medical, administrative approval to admit.
- Assist in training to new department employees
- Other duties as needed
